I am someone who enjoys many crafts, in fact too many, though sewing is my favourite. I have a sewing room, which is full to the brim with machines, fabric, habadashery, patterns, scrapbooking supplies, knitting supplies, glue, paint, stationery, and junk to boot. My sewing is somewhat sporadic, as I get to a difficult part, or get distracted, and never find it easy to persevere through to the end. So I have a sort of love-hate relationship with my sewing, and sometimes I get so frustrated with it that I cannot really call it a hobby, as  hobby is defined as being something enjoyable! But the feeling I get, when I complete a project and it turns out beautifully, is beyond words. It makes all the frustrations worthwhile.

  1. Hi…Don’t know who you are or where you are but thankyou for the pattern on the patchwork bag. It’s Great. I love the style of the bag and make a lot of bags myself. However I do not use any brand new craft materials. Mine are all purchased from Charity Shops. I use all 2nd hand stuff.

    • Thanks 🙂 I use both new and used materials, and I congratulate you on being able to do all your craft from recycled stuff. Well done. It’s not an easy thing to do sometimes.
